Sweet citrus marinade

I really like marinades. They can take a boring piece of meat and elevate it to pure juicy joy! Tonight I had some thin sliced beef. These little guys cook up super quick and can be a little on the bland side, so I whipped up a sweet citrus marinade to go on the meat and it was DELIGHTFUL!!!

Karin's Sweet Citrus Marinade
Ingredients:

1 tbs. Soy Sauce
Juice from two navel oranges
1 tbs. Brown Sugar
4 tbs. Olive oil
2 garlic cloves pressed

1. Take two garlic cloves and press them in a garlic press. If you don't have a garlic press, just thinly mince the garlic.

2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, soy sauce, juice from oranges, brown sugar and olive oil. Whisk to combine.

3. Put meat in a glass dish. Pour the marinade over the meat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.

When the meat has marinated long enough, cook on the grill or on a grill pan on the stove. I served mine with some onions that I caramelized in a little balsamic vinegar. YUM!!
