Today, when we finished up the French Onion Soup, I just slid the leftovers in these quart jars, lidded them up and put them in the fridge! They take up a lot less room than plastic containers and make it very easy to pour out tomorrow!!
The quart jars come with their traditional metal lids, but they now sell these great plastic lids that twist off and on very easily for repeated use. I bought a pack of these and love them.
