Karin's Smoothies

We love making smoothies in our house. They are fast, yummy and the kind we make are low in calories. So here's my fast and easy recipe. This makes 3 large smoothies, or 4 medium-sized smoothies.

Karin's Smoothies

8 oz. vanilla non-fat yogurt (I use Mountain High)
1/4 cup non-fat milk (may need a little more if smoothie is too thick)
1 banana
2 cups frozen strawberries**
Couple squirts of agave nectar (Don't have agave nectar? Use a couple squirts of honey.)

Put all the ingredients in the blender, except the strawberries. Add the strawberries and blend until smooth. Add a little more milk if it's not thick enough. During the summer months, I've been using fresh strawberries. If you do this, just add some ice to the smoothie to thicken it up. These run about 128 calories for a full-size smoothie.

**You can substitute blueberries, pineapple, peaches...whatever floats your boat!
