Speaking of gardening...

I have a new favorite show on television: P. Allen Smith's Garden Home on PBS. I know what you're thinking - a garden show? Really? Wouldn't it be boring? Not this one...this is the most relaxing, amazing, visually-pleasing show on television. Allen Smith is a wonderful designer who has "blurred the lines between inside and out," showing viewers his GORGEOUS garden home that he custom built and the stunning farm and gardens that have flowers, bushes, trees, shrubs, fountains, statues, and more to please ANY nature lover.

I get TONS of ideas from the show and am constantly inspired in the kitchen and in the garden. He also has several books out, including cook books (on my list for sure) about cooking from the garden.

If you haven't seen the show, take a moment, search for it on your local PBS station, and take the 30 minutes to watch it. You won't regret it.

  1. Did you see that your Pioneer Woman got her own show?

  2. Yeperdoodles - already got it set up on my DVR to record...looking forward to it!
