Marie's Chicken in Wine

This is a super easy crock pot recipe that is tasty and makes the house smell delightful! I make this a lot in the winter and serve over brown rice or whole wheat egg noodles. It came from the Fix it and Forget it Slow Cooker Cookbook.

Marie's Chicken in Wine
4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 cup chopped onions

1. Mix salt, pepper and flour on a plate.
2. Dredge chicken in flour mixture.
3. Pour wine into crock pot.
4. Add chicken.
5. Pour soup and onions over the top.
7. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

It's creamy, silky and fully satisfying.

*If you like mushrooms, saute up some in a little butter and pour over the top once you've plated.
