Do you know who Samantha Brown is? If you haven't seen one of her MANY shows on the Travel Channel, you're missing out! She has one of the best jobs in the world! She gets paid to travel all over the world, including IRELAND, and then writes her own shows (wow!) and delivers it on camera. She's a total goof and that's what makes her endearing. She shows you a lot of the traditional tourist stuff, but then shows a few fun or off the beat adventures you might not know about.
When she's in Ireland, she starts to talk with an Irish accent, which is hilarious, because it's not Irish at all. She's been all over the world and I haven't heard her try any other accents, but Ireland brings out the brogue in her.
Anyhow, if you're looking for a good travel show, check her out. I DVR Samantha Brown's Great Weekends and Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown. She's got several other shows as well.
