No cooking in the heat...

Sorry for the lack of cooking posts lately...it's hot here. And not just hot for WA state - hot period. Mid to high 90s. And all you people from the south can laugh if you want, but you have air conditioning in your homes. Most of us don't up here and when it gets to 89 in your living room and over the 90s in your bedroom, the last thing you want to do is turn on the oven. So we've been BBQing and eating fruit and frozen yogurt for dinner a lot. Supposed to drop into the 60s this weekend - hallelujah! Back to cooking and to some semblance of normalcy. I just LOVE the cold weather, the rain, the overcast skies and not being grouchy because I'm so darn hot.
