The two recent recipes posted come from a WONDERFUL cookbook put out by the lovely ladies that run Gooseberry Patch.

Get-togethers with Gooseberry Patch is a gem of a cookbook, full of gorgeous pictures and fantastic recipes that are easy, fun, and delicious. Best of all, the book is broken out by the type of get-together you would commonly use these recipes for, though you're not tied to the event in order to use the recipe! Some of the delightful chapters include Garden Lunch, Farmer's Market, Dinner on the Deck, At the Lake, On the Road, Autumn Harvest, Let's Tailgate, Winter Warmers and so much more! I eyed this cookbook on the shelves for months before I was able to get it and I'm so glad I bought it! This is one of about six or seven of their cookbooks that I have and I've not been disappointed in a single one of their books or their recipes! Being from a farm in Texas, their kitchen ware makes me claim a little piece of that country life I miss being up here in the Pacific Northwest!
